My story

Imani Lenz is a creative artist using video, photo, and music to document real people, places, and lived experience.

His work is rooted in observation—capturing conversations, environments, and moments as they naturally unfold. Through docu-series conversations and music vlogs, Imani creates space for stories that often go undocumented, prioritizing presence over performance.

He is the founder of Black Stock Footage, a cultural preservation project documenting nuanced Black experiences across the global diaspora, and Film Trips, a creator-led platform centered on in-person experiences and community storytelling.

Across all of his work, Imani’s focus remains the same: preserving what already matters before it’s lost.

Imani Lenz is the founder of Black Stock Footage, LLC—a content platform and licensing library dedicated to culturally rich stock visuals that authentically represent Black life.

Black Stock Footage is a fusion of creativity, culture, and innovation. His art is leveling the playing field by amplifying more authentic cultural narratives, dispelling biases, and breathing new life into everyday Black experiences via his stock video platform.

His work has been recognized by national and local innovation programs, including Pharrell Williams’ Black Ambition, the Tampa Bay Wave Tech Diversity Accelerator, Microsoft for Startups (1st place pitch winner), and the NAACP Powershift Entrepreneur Grant. Whether through film, photography, or music, Imani remains committed to preserving culture and building community through creativity.

Life is about giving and receiving. I believe the more I give, the more I will receive. I came to Earth to serve and help elevate the consciousness of the planet and people.

Abundance is everywhere and I choose to live in a mindset of abundance and is what I personally and professionally give in abundance to those who are also seeking to elevate their frequency.

I’ve tuned my energy to bring harmony out of discord and to use my energy for the highest good of all people. I love being of positive service as a conscious creative.

Life is about tapping into the rhythm of your soul. My conscious rhythmic mannerism helps me carry forward and sparks love, laughter, thoughtfulness, resilience, and productivity.
