What’s a Film Trip?

Film Trips are group content experiences hosted by local creators. Each creator creates a curated event series to preserve, amplify, and celebrate culture, community, and content through intentional experiences led by content creators like me

Our curated social experiences is where community, creativity, and culture meet. Every activation brings people together around a unique theme to celebrate, connect, and co-create powerful visual content that reflects the richness of Black life and creativity.

Film Trips is a creative movement at the intersection of visibility and legacy, where culture is lived, documented, and preserved—one story, one moment, one lens at a time.

How It Works

Step 1:

Step 3:

Step 4:

Step 5:
Receive access to curated content after the event — selected images and clips will be shared with you, the entire group of participants

Our Story

Film Trips was created with a simple belief: moments are more meaningful when they’re shared.
In a world that often pulls us into isolation, perfectionism, and comparison, Film Trips creates a new way forward — one rooted in connection, community, and creative expression.

We bring people together for guided photo and video experiences led by passionate creators.
Think of it as a blend of art, adventure, and human connection — an experience where you can drop into the present moment, explore your city, and capture memories that actually feel like you.
